JFT Scholarships
JFT offers two (2) college or university scholarships. Each scholarship will be in the amount of $500 per year over a period of four years, for a total scholarship of $2,000 each. Children of JFT members, who are graduating high school seniors, are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Click here to see the instructions and application.The deadline is April 1st.
Virtual Counseling Through Ochsner Anywhere Care
Schedule an appointment with the provider of your choice. Convenient virtual therapy appointments are available Monday – Friday until 8 p.m., with additional appointment times on Saturdays.
General Membership Meeting
The next general membership meeting will be Thursday, March 24th at 5:30 P.M. on Zoom.
This meeting is open to all members of JFT in good standing. If you are a JFT member, please register before 9 A.M. on Thursday, March 24th.

Millage Renewal
On April 30th you will have the chance to VOTE YES for a millage renewal that helps fund our school district. The half-cent sales tax renewal is not a new tax and there is no new cost to taxpayers. If reapproved by voters, it will continue to support foundational needs like school counselors and social workers, salaries and benefits for teachers and staff, updated learning materials and technology, and the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of our aging facilities.
Make sure to VOTE yes for this important millage renewal.
If you are not registered to vote, you can register through the GeauxVote Online Registration System; deadline is April 9.

8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Election Day:
7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
