Virtual Counseling Through Ochsner Anywhere Care

To help meet the mental health needs of teachers, school staff and administrators, the Louisiana Department of Education is offering therapy/counseling virtually through Ochsner Anywhere Care.

This secure, virtual visit tool makes it easy for school personnel to attend appointments with licensed psychologists or therapists via smartphone, tablet, or personal computer. Anywhere Care makes it possible to get care where and when you need it.

Schedule an appointment with the provider of your choice. Convenient virtual therapy appointments are available Monday – Friday until 8 p.m., with additional appointment times on Saturdays.

Millage Renewal

On April 30th you will have the chance to VOTE YES for a millage renewal that helps fund our school district. The half-cent sales tax renewal is not a new tax and there is no new cost to taxpayers. If reapproved by voters, it will continue to support foundational needs like school counselors and social workers, salaries and benefits for teachers and staff, updated learning materials and technology, and the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of our aging facilities.

Make sure to VOTE yes for this important millage renewal.

If you are not registered to vote, you can register through the GeauxVote Online Registration System; deadline is April 9.
